Many of you have shared with me your appreciation for my writing about my journey of "dismantling my life" and creating space for something else, more purposeful, more aligned with the "who" I felt I was becoming and was to be utilized as/through, to have room to grow and to be ready to act.
I acknowledge that this gesture of letting everything go, from a "successful business", professional contacts, a home, my belongings and many friendships, may appear to be one of courage, yet, I would like to share with you how I saw it. |

The last few months have been very revealing to me.
I have been tremendously blessed to trust my intuition enough to find my way to a wonderful community within the Kootney's called Nelson, in beautiful British Columbia. The energy here is tremendously gentle and what I would consider YIN, with enormous mountains surrounding the inhabitants and a beautiful lake that weaves thru the center of it all, like a life-vein.
This very obvious and constantly nurturing presence of Nature has been very gently and kindly "un-winding" me down to the deepest parts of me that are still holding onto beliefs and patterns of thinking and operating, that I, from a logical standpoint, know are not and have not been of beneficial use to me for quite a long time. |

My dear, loving and exceptionally patient friends, I feel very inspired to write to you on this blue moon. About every 2.6 years, we experience the beauty and awe of 2 full moons, and tonight we are blessed with just this.
For myself, the power and potency of the moon has always drawn me in, since I was a young girl. I have aligned much of my creating and my manifestation with the powers of the moon, as well as find it the most magnificent tool for me to meditate on.
The full moon also expresses to me a time to be seen, come out of hiding and to express what it is that has been deep within me, as a seed waiting to be birthed and brought "into the light" and shared with the world. |

A gentle mental tension is beginning to build and I feel that same tension in my lower right back as I await the start of my moon cycle.
There is something so incredibly potent about choosing to be alone and isolated from human noise for awhile, and I am entering into a gentle wave of resistance to it.
Is it because the tides are high and my attempts to connect with the next neighboring "active" beach where my friends are residing is impeded? Is it because "my choice" is being taken away? |

"The dark of the Moon is the most powerful time psychically. It seems to lure us toward the deepest self, the longings of the soul, and restful listening is a great way to receive these messages. It's been compared to the dormant seed under the winter snow, or the cocoon holding the butterfly. You might feel tired, or crave quiet solitude. It's important to make space for the unfolding of the spirit at this time. Like death itself, it's preparation for the new beginning that begins with the crescent.
